Vietnamese beauty appointed Youth Goodwill Ambassador of IIMSAM

Beauty of Mu Cang Chai’s flooded rice fields

Mu Cang Chai, a district of Yen Bai Province, about 300 kilometers from Hanoi, is picturesque when the rice terraces are flooded. National Museum of History launches first night tour for local and foreign visitors

The Vietnam National Museum of History launched the new tour from March 14 and they are set to run every weekend or according to the pre-booked tour schedule. Travelers can explore the architecture of the museum building which is commonly called “Nhà Bác Cổ” (Archaeological House) by Hanoians. The building is best known as a prime example of Indo-Chinese architecture in Vietnam during the colonial past, which combines eastern and western styles. Furthermore, the museum offers a special night tour to admire kapok tree blossoms inside the museum’s grounds. Visitors will also have the chance to find out about various national treasures preserved at the museum such as Ngoc Lu drum, Van Ban Pagoda’s bell, stone stale from Tu Ky Pagoda, and an ancient stone bridge. Explore European cultures through books

The European Literature Days 2023 will run in Hanoi from May 11 to 21, with many events, according to the French Institute. The opening ceremony will be held on May 13 with the participation of representatives from embassies and cultural institutes of 13 European countries. As part of the 2023 European Literature Days, publishing units and cultural enterprises in Vietnam will hold book launches, readings, literary discussions, and book fairs. Vietnam attends ASEAN- China Intangible Cultural Heritage Week

The maiden event aimed to increase exchanges and cooperation between ASEAN member states and China in the protection, inheritance, utilisation and development of intangible cultural heritage in the region and the world. Luxembourg Prime Minister Bettel warmly welcomed in Hanoi

This is the first ever visit to Vietnam by a Luxembourg PM over the past 20 years. In the photo, the two PMs review the guard of honour at the welcoming ceremony in Hanoi.
