Planting of Vietnam-Japan friendship trees in Da Nang
The JBAD is initiating a tree plantation project in collaboration with Japanese enterprises in Da Nang. This project is part of a series of activities planned for 2023 that aim to strengthen the relationship between Vietnam and Japan, as well as Japan and Da Nang, according to Nguyen Thi Kim Tuyen, Vice Chairman of the Union. Tuyen stated that the star apple trees, which will be grown in Lien Chieu District’s Park, will serve as a symbol of the close and enduring ties between the two countries, as well as between Da Nang and its Japanese partners. Hirayama Keiji, Head of JCCID, described these star apple trees as a representative symbol of the longstanding and robust relationship between Japan and Vietnam.
