Nguyen Tat Thanh Square in Tuyen Quang wins Asian Townscape Awards 2022

Covering an area of over 8.5 ha, Nguyen Tat Thanh Square is an impressive work in both landscape and urban architecture. Kumquat trees in a garden owned by Nguyen Van Thanh in Van Giang district of Hung Yen province go on sale with hundreds of new models. Unique trophy-shaped kumquat trees created to celebrate the ongoing FIFA World Cup in Qatar prove hugely attractive to shoppers this year. A kumquat tree shaped like the World Cup stands at 3.2 metres high. Gardener Thanh says he loves football and it takes time to create a bonsai tree with a unique shape. Such a bonsai tree in the photo costs VND18 million. Around 20 love-shaped kumquat trees are also put on sale in Thanh’s garden. Each heart-shaped kumquat tree is over 2 metres high. First Spanish language dictionary introduced in Vietnam

The purpose of the function is to introduce local readers to the first dictionary of the Spanish language that is to be both printed and published in Vietnam. Upon addressing the event, Assoc. Dr. Nguyen Viet Thao, standing vice president of the Vietnam-Cuba Friendship Association, underscored the importance of the work to broaden the knowledge, as well as to equip researchers and local Spanish learners with an useful tool to gain access to the language. Most notably, the dictionary was also released amid both countries celebrating 40 years since the signing of the Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation between Vietnam and Cuba, as well as the 62nd anniversary since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. ‘Come and Party in France’ exhibition held in HCM City

The exhibition, set to wrap up next April, will take visitors on a journey to the four corners of France, from the city to the countryside and from the mountains to the sea, to discover French festivals without leaving HCM City.
