Explore Regional Specialties and Traditional Crafts at Thong Nhat Hall, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City

From Friday to Sunday, the Local Specialties-Traditional Craft Villages program is being organized by the Business Studies & Assistance Center and the Business Association of High Quality Vietnamese Products. It aims to provide local residents and visitors to Ho Chi Minh City with the opportunity to discover regional specialties and traditional crafting.

The event showcases more than 40 businesses, offering a wide range of products such as Tay Ninh Province’s rice paper, Mekong Delta region’s cocoa, Binh Phuoc Province’s cashew nuts, and Da Lat City’s dried persimmons from Lam Dong province.

Aside from shopping, the program also provides experiential activities, product trials, games, and daily demonstrations on traditional desserts and cakes preparation from different regions, taking place from 9:00 am to 10:00 am.

The opening day of the program attracted a large crowd, with visitors showing great enthusiasm in trying various dishes, purchasing New Year gifts, and exploring traditional crafts.

Moreover, artisans are available to guide visitors in different crafting experiences, such as making ‘to he’ (edible toy statuettes), loofah and grass products, beeswax painting, and brocade and silk weaving.
