Impressive young players at VBA 2022

Vo Kim Ban of Saigon Heat

This year marks the outstanding growth of Vo Kim Ban. The 22-year-old is an indispensable member of Saigon Heat, having competed in six consecutive VBA seasons.

One of Ban’s highlights during this year’s tournament was his series of three successful three-points that helped Saigon Heat win against Cantho Catfish.

Ban scored a total of 23 points in the semifinal and final games of the VBA 2022, including many impressive three-pointers.

Despite playing at the VBA for the first time, Khoa proved he was an important member of Cantho Catfish.

The 20-year-old became the youngest player to score over 20 points at VBA following the game against Hanoi Buffaloes.

After 10 games, Khoa bagged a total of 75 points.

Khanh was absent in the first half of the season, but his appearance in the second half brought a big advantage to coach Todd Purves’ squad.

Despite being smaller in size, Khanh displayed a strong competitive spirit and impressive skills.

Pham Duc Khai of Thang Long Warriors

Khai was trusted by his coach Predrag Lukic as the young player from southern Vietnam was in the starting line-up for six games throughout the season.

The 21-year-old player was an important link of Thang Long Warriors, contributing an average of 3.3 points and 2.1 catches in his 91 minutes playing for the team.
